Rita Peterson

Rita has experienced many facets of life: military wife, divorced/single/working mom, fierce advocate for her children, volunteer chaplain, daughter, sister, and friend. Her most cherished moments have been being “mom” and now “grandma,” enjoying many music genres, canoeing the boundary waters, riding horses, enjoying Rocky Mountain living, and savoring world travels. A farm girl at heart, Rita has learned to appreciate city life and still find her way back to the farm.

Life has offered lots of opportunities for Rita to learn effective coping skills. Anxiety, depression, divorce, blended families, trauma, PTSD, life transitions; sexual, physical and emotional abuse; sexual addiction, marriage enrichment, women’s issues, grief and loss; military life, career changes, sending young adults into new beginnings . . . all can seem overwhelming, and all are possible to overcome. Rita has learned tools to help meet these challenges. She has also learned to ‘push pause’ and be present in the privileged moments with family and friends.

Rita’s passion is helping others become aware of and seek their potential; to move from striving to thriving. She helps individuals and families learn how to embrace conflict and see challenges as opportunities for change. She also helps people learn to communicate well, laugh joyfully, and even like themselves. Rita likes to help others

Rita would like to partner with you on your journey to learn new dance steps to life’s challenges, start to enjoy life, and write a different ending to your current story to Live Blessed!
